The project relates to researching and sketching. I was given a number and a letter to work with and create a logo out of. Once the logo was created, I had to relate my logo to a company and begin branding.
I began working with O, L and 3. Making different combinations to see what worked and what didnt. I sketched quickly in my book ideas I had. Once I felt I had explored my options, I shortened it to 5 then to 3. From those 3, I worked them from all angles, seeing my best options. I felt my logo represented a skateboard company. From there, I did research on other skateboard companies, their colors, typefaces, ideas and styles. Red and yellow stood out to me to be the best option.
